The warmer waters have brought a noticeable increase in activity, and we’re seeing some fantastic catches. One of the most exciting developments is the arrival of menhaden along the beach. These baitfish are starting to show up in significant numbers, and with them come the predators. The King mackerel, typically found offshore, are being lured closer to the beach, creating fantastic opportunities for nearshore anglers. Inshore, the Spanish mackerel are plentiful. These aggressive feeders are providing non-stop action and are a favorite for both seasoned anglers and beginners alike.
